INTERN - 2013 In my five month long internship for HONOLULU Magazine I designed magazine page layouts under senior graphic designer guidance. On some days interns would aid with photo shoots by organizing product layouts and directed children for their sister company, Honolulu Family Magazine. On an article by James Cave I gave input and designed the info graphics. I also gave typographic input for headers on events held by Hawaiʻi Business Magazine.
I designed these infographics based on the article and chose a warm color to stand out against the cool teal background.
I focused on simplifying info graphic to support this accompanying article, less lines and more focus on the icon shape.
